The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic for the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer, models 2015 to 2017, is a practical solution for attaching a tank bag. This system is characterized by its simple handling and robust construction.

• The assembly is carried out by a mechanical locking, which ensures a clearly audible snapping when the tank backpack puts on
• To loosen the backpack, an unlocking mechanism is operated, which is located at the front of the backpack
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the tank sack system
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h

Installation and compatibility

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder, which is attached to the tank and handlebar on the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank. The tank cover remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking. For the assembly you only need this tanking and a corresponding tank bag for the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer of the 2015-2017 years.

Differences to other tankingen

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Please note that tank bags and counterholder must be compatible within the same system. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa.
