For the 2001 to 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 600, this model-specific kit provides the mechanical mount for a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag.

The BASIC tank ring and matching retaining plate for attachment to the tank bag are supplied. Its position can be selected with consideration for the shape of the tank and steering lock. A tank bag is required separately.

Defined locking procedure

The tank bag is fitted and audibly engages in the mechanical lock. To release it, operate the strap at the front. The fuel cap can still be opened with the tank ring fitted.

Same system for both components

This BASIC ring can only be used with a BASIC retaining plate. A Lock-it locking unit does not fit the ring. When installed as intended, no ABE or registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific instructions must also be observed.
