Universal BASIC tank ring with 6-hole mounting
This universal tank ring mechanically connects a Hepco & Becker tank bag to the motorcycle. The complete kit includes the BASIC tank ring and the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag.
Mechanical locking
The tank bag is placed on the ring and audibly clicks into place. To remove it, the lock can be released using the securing strap positioned at the front of the tank bag. The fuel cap remains accessible when the ring is installed.

The motorcycle manufacturer’s specifications and product-specific instructions must also be observed. Neither ABE approval nor registration is required when installed as intended. Before selection, check the manufacturer’s checklist to ensure that the universal 6-hole version is suitable for the intended motorcycle.
System information
The tank ring and retaining plate must both belong to the BASIC system. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be used with this BASIC tank ring. The BASIC retaining plate included in the kit therefore does not need to be purchased separately.
