The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Ducati Monster 796 from the construction years 2010 to 2016. This accessory is used to secure a tank bag safe directly to the motorcycle tank.

The tanking enables the tank cover to be opened even when the tank bag is mounted. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers purely mechanical locking without magnetic support. The basic function and operation of both systems are identical, but the basic tanking is only compatible with the corresponding counter holder of the same system.
