The RAD kit in Avus Black and Matte Black combines newly shaped fairing parts with functional airflow and intake components. This gives the front section a slimmer, more strongly tapered appearance, while ABS, stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminum create a coordinated overall look.

Fairing and Airflow

• Tank covers in Avus Black with graphics and transparent protection
• Lightweight side panels and center cover made from matte black ABS
• Redesigned front section with side mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Radiator deflectors direct hot air from the radiator away from the rider's legs
• Airbox snorkels replace the original airflow restrictors and increase performance in the mid-rpm range
• Stainless steel side elements generate downforce to increase airflow at the airbox snorkel

Installation and Compatibility

The fairing elements have the required holes and are prepared for quick installation. Fasteners, rubber components, screws and brackets are included. The model year and compatible motorcycle version must be considered when making your selection.

• The tank covers are specified for R 1200 GS LC from 2013 to 2019
