Minimalist front-end conversion for the BMW R 1200 GS

The BASIC headlight kit fundamentally transforms the front of the BMW R 1200 GS model years 2008 to 2012, creating a minimalist scrambler or roadster look. It is offered as an aesthetically minimalist alternative to the PRO version.

Handlebar Mounts and Headlight Frame

• The handlebar mounts are CNC-machined from solid aluminum.
• By mounting to the original housing, they enable attachment of the front headlight frame from the R-1200-GS kit.
• The BASIC headlight frame is made of steel and has a black powder-coated finish.
• The frame attaches directly to the handlebar mounts on the triple clamp.
• It supports the BASIC headlight and the optionally available windshield.

BASIC Front Headlight

The front headlight provides excellent light output. It has an E-number and road-use approval. The bulbs and everything required for installation are included.

Lowering the Original Radiators

The included radiator kit allows the original radiators to be relocated to a lower position on the motorcycle. All necessary materials and clamps for correct installation are included in the kit.

Tank Bracket

The robust tank bracket is made of steel and has a black powder-coated finish. It is easily installed using the original mounting point.
