PUIG Touring screen for the BMW R1300RT from 2025 onward

More aerodynamic protection for extended tours: PUIG developed this Touring screen specifically for the model year 2025 BMW R1300RT. Its additional height of 35 mm compared with the original screen, sculpted upper edge and central air channel reduce the air pressure hitting the upper body as well as disruptive turbulence.

Sophisticated airflow management

The aerodynamically developed central section provides particular protection for the chest area. The upper spoiler redirects airflow and reduces pressure on the rider, while the central opening and integrated air channel reduce wind noise at high speeds. Turbulence around the ears is also specifically reduced.

Integrated design for the R1300RT

The lower and side contours follow the BMW’s front end and increase lateral coverage. The lower section of the screen blends into the shape of the original headlight. Precise lines lead visually toward the radar and provide the large screen with additional structural rigidity.

The acrylic combines strength, low weight and transparency. Depending on your preferred look, the Touring screen is available in clear, tinted, dark tinted or Graphics versions.

Proven aerodynamic relief

In the aerodynamic comparison, the measured air pressure on the rider fell from approximately 1.3 kg with the original screen to 0.4 kg with the PUIG Touring screen. This represents an improvement of 72 percent and is particularly noticeable around the chest area. The reduced wind pressure enhances riding comfort and can reduce fatigue on long journeys.

Mounting and documentation

The Touring screen is fitted to the same mounting points as the original screen and uses the existing original screws. An aerodynamic comparison is included. An ABE document is also available for the product; its specific scope for the respective motorcycle must be carefully checked before use.
