BMW R 1150 GS [1999-2004] - BASIC headlight kit

Minimalist front conversion for a radical scrambler or roadster style

The BASIC headlight kit is the reduced alternative to the PRO headlight kit. It was developed for a comprehensive conversion of the front section and gives the BMW R 1150 GS or R 1150 GS Adventure a significantly more minimalist appearance.

Kit components

• Handlebar risers: CNC machined from solid aluminum alloy and with anodized finish.
• Front headlight bracket: Made from steel and treated with durable powder coating. It is mounted on the handlebar risers and accommodates the BASIC headlight and optionally the Hubert fairing.
• BASIC headlights: Approved headlight including bulbs and wiring with high light output.
• Cooler kit: Allows the original radiator to be relocated in front of the engine. Included are the metal pipes with rubber clamps required for this assembly, additional clamps and new radiator brackets.

Important information about the conversion

• The original instrument unit must be removed.
• The bracket is designed to mount an optional digital instrument cluster in place of the original speedometer and tachometer.
• This version does not have a bracket for the high fender.

Compatibility

The kit is compatible with the BMW R 850 GS, R 1100 GS, R 1150 GS and R 1150 GS Adventure.
