AXP underrun protection for the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally

The AXP underrun protection protects the lower area of the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally and is assigned to the model year range 2021-2026. The version made of 8 mm thick PE-HD combines a robust protective function with a clearly defined design. The weight is 4.1 kg.

Well thought-out protection area

The design covers the fuel pump and extends protection on both sides of the fuel tank. An inserted foam pad reduces friction and helps prevent paint chips between the skid plate and the vehicle. The shape of the underrun protection has been revised to make it easier to install the KTM fuel pump.

The fender is positioned in front of the plate. This avoids contact with the plate that could cause melting. The new shape also takes the front fender into account, thereby preventing potential problems in this area.
